This movie not only became a box-office success but was also one of the most-loved roles of Deepika Padukone. The ‘Pathan’ actress stunned the audience with her perfect comic timing and movie-lovers rejoiced as SRK and Deepika reunited on-screen after ‘Om Shanti Om’ which was released in the year 2007.

‘Chennai Express’ was released in the year 2013 and it marked one of Deepika’s performances which changed the shape of her career. This movie has established her as one of the leading artists of Bollywood. She was well-liked by both the critics and the audience in this film directed by Rohit Shetty.
