Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut, who often makes it to the headlines for her controversial statements, is currently shooting for her upcoming movie in Budapest. The ‘Thalaivi’ actress who will be seen portraying the role of Agni, a spy, in ‘Dhaakad’, shared some details about her character as she is about to wrap up her shoot for the movie.
Kangana Ranaut shared a picture of herself dressed in her character Agni on her Instagram and said that the character will live with her ‘beyond the film’. While sharing the post, she wrote, “As the shoot is about to come to an end, she will live in me beyond the film…. She will rise inspite of herself and her inner demons”.
The ‘Tejas’ actress can be witnessed donning the rough and tough look for her character. ‘The Family Man 2’ actress Samantha Akkineni reacted to her post and commented with two fire emojis.
A few days back, Kangana also shared a collage of her transformation from ‘Thalaivi’ to ‘Dhaakad’. The actress had to put on weight to bring to life the story of J. Jayalalithaa on screen. While sharing the post, the ‘Queen’ actress wrote, “Journey like no other …#Thalaivi #Dhaakad Special mention to two visionaries and geniuses @neeta_lulla @mrsheetalsharma”.
Apart from acting, Kangana has also ventured into production. Her production house Manikarnika Films will soon be debuting in the OTT platform with the upcoming movie ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’. Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen playing the lead role in this movie. Kangana welcomed Siddiqui to the film with a post that read, “Welcome to the team, sir @nawazuddin._siddiqui”.
Meanwhile, other than ‘Dhaakad’, Kangana Ranaut will also be seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Thalaivi’ and ‘Tejas’.
