After about one and a half month of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, his father K.K. Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty accusing her of cheating, abetment of suicide and money laundering case. since then, the case took a different turn. Fans from around the world have been demanding justice for the late actor and requesting a CBI investigation into the case. even many of Sushant’s peers from the industry also stepped forward and urged a CBI enquiry into the case.

Finally, the day has arrived as, earlier today, the Supreme Court said that CBI will investigate the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor’s death. The apex court said the FIR registered by Bihar Police is correct, reference to CBI is lawful. It observed that the Bihar government is competent enough to transfer case to CBI for investigation.

As Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is amongst the warriors fighting for Rajput’s justice, she shared her views on the SC’s judgement and said that she has never felt such strong force of collective consciousness.

Her tweet read, “Humanity wins, congratulations to each one of SSR warriors, first time I felt such strong force of collective consciousness, AMAZING #CBITakesOver”

According to PTI, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty for alleged offences under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 306 (abetment of suicide), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 380 (theft in dwelling house), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) and 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).

In another development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has been summoning the ‘Jalebi’ actress, her family, SSR’s manager and friends in the money laundering case.

The ’Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ actor was allegedly found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14.
