New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday starrer ‘Pati Patni Aur Who’ is roaring at the box office. The film, which released on December 6 along with ‘Panipat’, has managed to win the hearts of the audience despite getting mixed reviews from the critics. The romantic comedy, which collected Rs 9.10 crore on its opening day, has entered the Rs 50 crore club.

‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ minted Rs 4.62 crore on Wednesday to take the total domestic box office collection to Rs 51.61 crore. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the total collection of the film on Twitter. He mentioned that the Mudassar Aziz directorial will surpass the first week collection of Kartik’s previous release ‘Luka Chuppi’.

“#PatiPatniAurWoh cruises past ₹ 50 cr mark... Continues its steady run on weekdays... Will comfortably cross *Week 1* biz of #LukaChuppi [₹ 53.70 cr]... Fri 9.10 cr, Sat 12.33 cr, Sun 14.51 cr, Mon 5.70 cr, Tue 5.35 cr, Wed 4.62 cr. Total: ₹ 51.61 cr. #India biz,” Adarsh wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Panipat’ has witnessed a drop in its numbers on Wednesday. The film co-starring Sanjay Dutt raked in Rs 1.70 crore to take the total box office collection to 24.18 crore. The war drama couldn’t sustain the momentum on the back of positive mouth-of-the-word publicity.

‘’#Panipat continues to fall rapidly... Fri 4.12 cr, Sat 5.78 cr, Sun 7.78 cr, Mon 2.59 cr, Tue 2.21 cr, Wed 1.70 cr. Total: ₹ 24.18 cr. #India biz,” Taran Adarsh tweeted while sharing the box office collection of ‘Panipat’.

Both ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ and ‘Panipat’ will face stiff competition from ‘Mardaani 2’, which is slated to hit the silver screens on December 13. The film starring Rani Mukerji in lead role is the sequel to ‘Mardaani’, which released in 2014.
