Mumbai: Bollywood filmmaker Boney Kapoor’s 23-year-old house help has tested positive for novel Coronavirus. The ‘Wanted’ producer stays at Lokhandwala’s Green Acres with his daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. His late wife and veteran actress Sridevi also used to live at the same place before her death two years back.


Boney released an official statement to ABP News, which read: "I, my daughters Janhvi & Khushi and other house staff are doing fine and none of us have COVID-19 symptoms at the moment. We not stepped out of our house since lockdown started.”

Boney Kapoor further said that his house help Charan Sahu was not feeling well on Saturday. “We decided to send him to a nearby hospital and then kept him under isolation. After his test report came out to be positive, we informed the society about Charan. The society members informed BMC about the same,” he added.

BMC is now sanitizing Boney Kapoor’s society and taking required formal action according to the guidelines.

Boney Kapoor said, "I am hopeful that Charan will soon return fully recovered. We will diligently follow all the guidelines given by BMC and his medical team."



Talking about Janhvi Kapoor, the star kid has several exciting projects in her kitty. The talented actress, who made her debut with 'Dhadak' opposite Ishaan Khatter, has a stellar line-up which includes 'Kargil Girl', 'Dostana 2', 'RoohiAfza' and 'Takht'.
