The 'Bala' actress highlighted the need for conservation of nature and revealed that she is gifting samplings in earthen pots. "The reason behind gifting saplings to my family, friends and colleagues comes from a very simple thought of spreading green joy on Diwali. I am a climate warrior and while I absolutely love the spirit of Diwali, the festivities and gifting our near and dear ones, I thought this year I should start by changing the way I give gifts to people," the 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' actress said in a statement to IANS. Popular TV actress Shivangi Joshi aka Naira from 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' has decided to virtually connect with her family members and relatives in Dehradun. Joshi will be making full use of technology to celebrate the festival with her loved ones. "The only good thing this lockdown has brought is that Mother Nature has healed extensively. I would appeal to everyone not to burst crackers. This year, I will make sweets, rangoli and light diyas, once we are done with the puja. I will then have a video call wishing my family and relatives back in Dehradun. Since there is still no vaccination, we must stay home, unless it’s absolutely necessary to step out.
