BMC on Wednesday razed parts of the 'Queen' actress's residence and office in Bandra. However, the Bombay High Court has put a stay on the civic body's demolition drive at her property in Mumbai. The order came after BMC already razed parts of Kangana's residence and damaged her office which is a part of her house in Bandra.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut's lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui has given his reaction in the case. Speaking to the media earlier today, the lawyer said, "they came to demolish the property in the owner's absence. They brought along a large force. What kind of action is this?"

Reacting on the notice, Siddiqui said "I replied to the notice issued by the corporations. The notice issued is illegal. They entered the premises illegally."

According to the reports, the lawyer is likely to file contempt proceedings and charges against the Mumbai civic body.
