New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing tussle between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and the Maharashtra government, the BMC has filed a new petition seeking permission to demolish the parts of actress' house in the Khar area of Mumbai. Two years ago, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation had reportedly issued a notice to the ‘Manikarnika’ actress saying that the house has been built in a wrong way without abiding by the rules of the BMC.

Kangana Ranaut moved to the city Civil Court and took a stay order at that time. However, the BMC has now filed a caveat and requested to cancel her stay order so that they can demolish the 'illegal portions'. The ‘Queen’ actress’ house in Khar area is on the fifth floor in a building called DB Bridge. According to the civic body, changes have been made to 8 places in the property including the terrace, balcony and the kitchen.

Earlier today, the BMC demolished Kangana Ranaut’s office ‘Manikarnika Films’ in Mumbai. The Bombay High Court later put a stay order and will hold a hearing in the matter again tomorrow. Additionally, the High Court has also asked for a response from the BMC team for being so hasty in demolishing Kangana Ranaut’s property.

Meanwhile, after the ‘Panga’ actress reached Mumbai, she shared a video addressing to Uddhav Thackeray saying, “Uddhav Thackeray, you think you have taken big revenge by joining hands with the movie mafia and breaking my house? Today, my house has been broken, tomorrow your pride will break.” She concluded her video saying “Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra”
