'Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship' Box Office Report Day 1: Vicky Kaushal's Horror Film Opens Well

'Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship' has managed to start on a decent note at the box office.

New Delhi: Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship’, which hit the silver screens on February 21, has started on a positive note at the box office. Despite getting scathing reviews from the critics, the horror film managed to earn decent numbers on the first day. ‘Bhoot’ collected Rs 5.10 crore on its opening day at the box office. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first day box office collection of ‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship’ on Twitter. He mentioned that the film opened according to the expectations. “#Bhoot opens on expected lines... The genre has its loyal audience in mass pockets + with strong title-value, should’ve opened to higher numbers... #MahaShivratri partial holiday also contribute to its total... Needs to increase speed on Day 2 and 3... Fri ₹ 5.10 cr. #India biz,” Adarsh tweeted. ‘Bhoot Part 1: The Haunted Ship’ performed well but it couldn’t beat the first day box office collection of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ and ‘Raazi’.
