New Delhi: Ajay Devgn will kick off 2023 with a new character in Bholaa, his next and most challenging action film. On Tuesday, the actor revealed Tabu, his longtime friend and co-star, to the world for the first time. In the film, Ajay Devgn is getting ready to take on the role of director.

After the success of ‘Drishyam 2’, Tabu and Ajay collaborated on another film, Bholaa, in which she portrays a stern policeman. The ‘Singham’ star shared the film's motion poster of Tabu and wrote, "Ek khaaki Sau shaitaan."

In the video, Tabu's voice can be heard saying, ‘Aaj raat ya toh wo hume dhoondh lega ya hum usey. Bandook ki naukri ki hai, goli toh khani padegi."

The actress seems to be in good shape to wear the uniform of a police officer, judging by the poster.

‘Bholaa’ is the name of the Hindi remake of the award-winning Tamil movie Kaithi. Tamil hit 'Kaithi' starred Karthi in the lead and was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is about Dilli, an ex-convict, who wants to meet his daughter for the first time after leaving prison. However, his attempts are interrupted due to a drug raid planned by Inspector Bejoy.

The 3D version of the film will premiere on March 30.

Tabu's first film of the year, ‘Kuttey’, is already showing in theatres. Interestingly, Tabu also played a tough police officer in the new movie ‘Kuttey’, which came out last Friday. Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's son Aasmaan Bhardwaj helms the new film ‘Kuttey’, which stars an ensemble cast including Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sensharma, Radhika Madan, and Kumud Mishra.
