The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, Bharat starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles has shattered box-office on fire becoming the actor's biggest opener ever!

Bharat is a Salman Khan film and also an Eid release, so a humongous opening was expected and the film indeed got a bumper opening at the box-office on day 1. One of the much-anticipated film Bharat hit the screens on Wednesday(June 5). And the Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial venture did phenomenal on its opening day as Bhai fans thronged the theatres in large numbers on Eid. Salman Khan has always struck gold on Eid. If his 2016 film Sultan opened at Rs 36.54 crore, his 2017 film Tubelight made Rs 21.15 crore on its opening day. And Salman last Eid release Race 3, which released in 4300 screens across the country, made Rs 29.17 crore.
