The trailer of 'Badhaai  Ho' just dropped and it talks of an elderly couple (Ayushmann's character Nakul's parents) Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao's active sexual life, which results in Neena's pregnancy. How the society then mocks them bringing Ayushmann to face embarrassment who's all set to marry his girlfriend(played by Sanya Malhotra), is shown in this rib tickling promo. Everyone in the family's surrounding, be it the neighbors, his would-be in laws and even his grand mother (played by 'Balika Vadhu' fame Surekha Sikri), frown upon the elderly couple for this which is considered a taboo in the society. However the fans are giving it all their love and showering praises on the trailer. The 'Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein' actress Dia Mirza also joins this list and she even reveals that her own mother was born in a situation like this.

The former beauty queen turned actress who was seen in multiple Bollywood films, reacted to the trailer of 'Badhaai Ho' by sharing the story of her own mother's birth and we spotted it first. Dia wrote - "Hillarious!!! Oh My God!!! My mother was born to her parents when her oldest sister was getting married [laughing emoji]".

Dia wrote this while commenting on Ayushmann's Instagram post with the trailer's link and which he captioned as - "Dekh lo sab log! Jaanni thi na 'khush khabri'? Here's the trailer of #BadhaaiHo! (Link In Bio) @sanyamalhotra_ #AmitSharma@neena_gupta #GajrajRao @badhaaihofilm@jungleepictures @pictureschrome".


Dia Mirza reveals in her Instagram comment that her mother too was born in the same situation as Neena Gupta's, in Ayushmann Khurrana-Sanya Malhotra starrer 'Badhaai Ho'

In the film also, Ayushmann is planning a wedding with his girlfriend Sanya Malhotra when he finds out about his mother's pregnancy.

Reacting to Dia's comment, the fans then began to congratulate her too, saying, "toh aapko bhi #badhaaiho". And some even shared that their grand parents too had the same story.


However the film's story is set in the current times and it's not going down too well with the society. Man residing in the neighbour comments on 'Kaushikji' calling out his name from the balcony - "Kaushik sahab!! shakal se to bade shareef lagte thae!". And Sanya's mom(Sheeba Chaddha) is shocked to hear about the pregnancy news too, saying at one point - "I'm not saying that Nakul's a bad guy! Achha ladka hai wo! But his family is a circus i don't want to buy tickets to!" .

With the release of the trailer, Ayushmann is being lauded for the choices he has been making in doing films, like, 'Vicky Donor', 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan' and now 'Badhaai Ho'.

This film too has everyone's attention now and we really look forward to see how they finally deal with this in the end. 'Badhaai Ho' released on 19th October next month.
