Bade Miyan Chote Miyan vs Maidaan

The Amit Sharma directorial will only see a Hindi release. The film has so far sold 16,178 tickets across the country. On Eid, the Ajay Devgn starrer is expected to earn Rs 7 crore, while the action film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is predicted to bring in Rs 15 crore.

Maidaan movie review

The film review on ABP Live reads: The movie, based on the life of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim and India's victory at the 1962 Asia Games, falls short of showcasing the essence of a typical biopic. While it is common for actors to adopt mannerisms and body language in this genre, Devgn brings his natural ease to the role. Ajay Devgn appears more as himself on screen than as Coach Rahim. Whether casually smoking a cigarette while being criticized by the board or confidently advocating for his players in the Ministry office, he captures a versatile range. Devgn keeps his star appeal without overshadowing his character.
