Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan, who recently tested positive for coronavirus, are currently undergoing treatment for the same at Nanavati hospital. The duo was admitted to the hospital for more than a week ago. A media report suggested that Big B has tested negative for Coronavirus and is likely to get discharged soon.

Amitabh took to Twitter to refute the report of him getting fully recovered from COVID-19. The 'Deewar' actor tweeted, "this news is incorrect , irresponsible , fake and an incorrigible LIE."

A hospital source earlier informed ABP News that, his other tests too are normal, including blood test and city scan and he might get discharged in a say or two. Abhishek's report are also normal, however it's still unclear when he will be allowed to leave the hospital.

Hospital sources, revealed that Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are responding well and will soon be walking out of the hospital. However, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan will continue to be in the hospital after being admitted a few days ago.

On 11 July, both Amitabh and Abhishek informed their fans and followers on social media that they had tested Covid-19 positive.

Soon after, Aishwarya and Aaradhya too tested positive but they home quarantined themselves before being shifted to the hospital recently. Meanwhile, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Navya Naveli Nanda and Adgasthya Nanda have tested negative for COVID-19.
