The feisty ‘Queen’ of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut has been in the news for quite some time. The actress recently blasted Bollywood’s bigwigs in her recent TV interview. The Manikarnika actress has been calling Sushant’s death a ‘planned murder’ and not suicide in all her videos she shared since Rajput’s untimely demise.

In her recent TV interview, Kangana spoke at length about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, questioned the probe in his case. She also mentioned during the interview that she was called for a statement, and she said that she was in Manali, asking if they could send someone to take her statement.

And now, Kangana’s team has clarified on their social media account that Mumbai Police hasn’t sent a formal summon to Kangana, and her sister Rangoli has only been getting casual calls from the cops. Sharing screenshot of the chat with a cop, the tweet reads as, “There is no formal summon sent to Kangana , Rangoli keeps getting casual calls from the cops for past 2 weeks, Kangana wants to record statement but we don’t get any response from @mumbaipolice, Here’s a screen shot of message Rangoli ji sent to @mumbaipolice.”

The text that Kangana Ranaut’s team claims was sent by Rangoli to Mumbai Police, read, “Dear sir, As we spoke today kindly send us the questions u want to ask Ms. Kangana Ranaut so that Ms Ranaut can record her statement accordingly. Mr. Ishkaran Bhandari is our lawyer and his number is. Anything u need u can call our legal team also they will help u with everything u need from our side, Sir we want justice for Sushant Singh Rajput and we will co operate u in every possible way!!! Ms. Ranaut is more than willing to record her statement once we receive the questions from your side. Thank you in advance!!!”

Meanwhile, hundreds of SSR fans lit candles as a part of  Candle4SSR online protest on Wednesday evening, initiated as a tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput and to demand justice for the late actor.

Kangana too lit a candle to show solidarity with the movement, a picture of which was posted by her Twitter team, which goes by the name of Team Kangana Ranaut, on their unverified Twitter account.

The protest, #Candle4SSR, is also a peaceful way of requesting authorities to initiate a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the actor's untimely demise.
