Ayushmann Khurrana Starts Shoot For 'Doctor G' In Bhopal, Rakul Preet Can't Wait To Join Him On Sets

Ayushmann Khurrana shared a photo from the sets of 'Doctor G' on the first day of shoot in Bhopal.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has commenced the shoot for his upcoming film ‘Doctor G’ in Bhopal from Wednesday (July 14). The ’Badhaai Ho’ star shared a picture from the sets and expressed his excitement over working in the movie. He revealed that ‘Doctor G’ will be his third film that will be shot in the pandemic. 

Ayushmann posted a photo wherein he can be seen donning a face mask. He lauded the script of ‘Doctor G’, calling it ‘one of the best he has ever read’.  

“Day 1 #DoctorG This is the third film I’ll be shooting in the pandemic. But summers will be tough. One of the best scripts I’ve ever read. Too excited to collaborate with @anubhuti_k @jungleepictures @rakulpreet @shefalishahofficial @sheeba.chadha @sumit.saxena.35912 @saurabhbharat @vishal.wagh21,” the caption for the post read. 

Rakuul Preet, Tillotama Shome and other tinsel town celebs dropped comments on the post. Rakul, who will share screen-space with Khurrana for the first time in 'Doctor G', commented, "Yay yay yay !! It’s my third too, let’s kill it and can’t wait to join you all." Fans are also quite excited to see the fresh pairing on the silver screen. They will be seen essaying the role of doctors in the upcoming film. 

Ayushmann's wife Tahira Kashyap posted a heart emoji on the photo while Shome wrote, "Three!!WOW!! Good luck to you and the whole cast and crew."

'Doctor G' will also star Shefali Shah and Sheeba Chadha in key roles. Earlier in the day, Ayushmann was snapped at the Bhopal airport by the paparazzi.

On the professional front, Ayushmann has several exciting projects in his kitty including ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ and ‘Anek’. He will be seen romancing Vaani Kapoor in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, which has been directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
