New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput’s case took a new turn after his father KK Singh lodged a complaint against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty at Rajiv Nagar Police station in Patna. An FIR was registered against the Bollywood actress under sections 341, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306, 506 and 120B of the IPC. A four-member team from Bihar Police has arrived in Mumbai to quiz Rhea in connection with SSR’s case.

According to a report in a leading daily, Bihar Police interrogated Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande on Wednesday (July 29). The ‘Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi’ actress revealed her last conversation with Sushant during the interrogation.

Ankita reportedly told the police that she had a long chat with Sushant during the release of ‘Manikarnika’ in 2019 in  which he talked about his relationship with Rhea.

Sources told DNA that Sushant told Ankita, "He was quite unhappy in the relationship and wants to end it as Rhea harassed him".

The report in the daily suggested that Ankita told the police that Sushant wanted to end his relationship with Rhea Chakraborty.

Ankita and Sushant shot to fame after playing the respective roles of Archana and Manav in Zee TV’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Their break-up in 2016 grabbed a lot of eyeballs as everyone was surprised to see the two part ways.

Ankita shared a cryptic post on Instagram after Sushant’s father filed an FIR against Rhea and five other people. She wrote, “Truth wins.” Her post created a lot of buzz on social media.



Ankita, who was last seen in ‘Baaghi 3’, met Sushant’s family at his residence in Mumbai after his demise. She looked devastated and could barely walk without. The talented actress was accompanied with her mother and producer Sandip Ssingh.

She lit a diya for Sushant on his one-month death anniversary and called him ‘Child of God’ in her caption.



Meanwhile, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has said that the state government will not transfer Sushant’s case to the CBI as Mumbai Police is carrying out the investigation well.
