New Delhi: A new poster for Ranbir Kapoor's next film 'Animal' has been released, revealing the first glimpse at Anil Kapoor from the flick. The actor released the poster on Instagram, announcing that he will play Ranbir Kapoor's father in the film. Anil can be seen in the poster in a wounded state, with patch bandages on his chest. He was decked out in blue and seated on a throne-like chair.

Anil shows up in the first shot of 'Animal', sitting on a wooden sofa chair and gazing at the camera. Surprisingly, he looks not just intense, but also sick on the inside. Several rows of vibrant flowers fill the background in what seems to be wallpaper.

“Animal Ka Baap… Balbir Singh," Anil Kapoor wrote.

The new poster follows the release of a poster featuring Ranbir Kapoor. Animal's teaser will be released on Ranbir's birthday, according to the poster.

'Animal' was originally scheduled to be released on August 11, clashing with 'Gadar 2' and 'OMG 2'. The makers of the film, however, opted to delay the film's release until December. It is a gangster action film that also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, and Suresh Oberoi. The flick is set against the underworld and revolves around Anil and Ranbir's father-son relationship, which leads to Ranbir being a psychopath.

It is a joint effort between Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Cine1 Studios. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of 'Arjun Reddy' and 'Kabir Singh' will helm the film. On December 1, it will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
