"Jaya's birthday today and the distance where she is stuck, reduced by the inventions of the day in virtual technology .. she was in Delhi at Parliament when the lockdown happened and she could not come back home, in Mumbai," Big B wrote in his Tumblr blog.
"She is at home in Delhi, within controlled conditions and of course the entire day never passes without FT 's and sharing of conversations which make it seem as though we are all together," the ‘Paa’ actor further wrote.
Amitabh Bachchan also shared a photo with Jaya Bachchan and thanked his fans for their warm wishes on the latter’s birthday. He tweeted, “T 3496 - To them that have wished Jaya on her birthday today, my gratitude and love .. thank you for remembering her .. it will be impossible to respond to each of you individually , hence this .. love धन्यवाद और आभार she has been given your wishes and she sends her thanks.”
Abhishek Bachchan penned a heartfelt post for his mother on Instagram. He wrote, “As every child will tell you, their favourite word is... MA! Happy Birthday, Ma. Although you are away in Delhi due to the lockdown and we all are here in Mumbai, know that we are thinking of you and carry you in our hearts. I love you."
