While the possible collaboration between Salman and Rohit has already amped up fans, there is already an interesting connection between Salman Khan and the Singham series.

Salman Khan & Singham connection

Soon after reports of Salman's cameo in Singham Again surfaced, fans dug out an old video of film director Rohit. In this viral clip, the filmmaker revealed how Salman's 2009 mass action film 'Wanted' inspired him to bring in the 'Singham' series.

In the video, we see Rohit recollecting, "I'll tell you what. I made Singham because of Wanted. That was a phase when multiplexes came in.

“It was 2009, I was making All The Best. PVR had just opened up, new. And that time nobody was making mass action films. And Wanted was one underdog which came," he added.

Back then, Rohit had seeb a theatre full of kids clapping and whistling watching the Salman Khan-starrer. The filmmaker shared, "I was like, the time has come back to make mass entertainers because even, abhi multiplex mein bhi seetiya aur taali bajne lagi hain. And in then, we made Singham in 2011.”

Now, years after that, Salman will make a possible entry into the fifth film of the filmmaker's cop universe almost like life taking a full circle.
