Alia Bhatt's Sister Shaheen Bhatt Says She Will Take Legal Action Against Online Rape Threats

Shaheen Bhatt said that she will use all 'legal recourse available' to take action against the people, who send hateful messages.

The star kids including Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor have faced flak for not acknowledging their privilege. Several tinsel town celebs including Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have even lost followers on Instagram since Sushant’s death. The likes of Sonakshi Sinha, Aayush Sharma have quit Twitter while others have disabled their comments section on Instagram. Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt took to her Instagram story to say that she will take legal action against those, who issue such threats on social media. Shaheen said that she will block and report the users, who send her any hateful messages. She added that she will use all ‘legal course available to take action’. “If you send me a message with the sole hope (I say hope because I promise you- nothing you say is keeping me up at night) of humiliating, insulting or bullying me, then the following things will happen: The messages or comments will be first blocked and reported to Instagram directly. You will forfeit the right to your privacy. I will NOT protect your identity. Even shitty message you send me will- should I choose to go- go up for everyone to see. The film will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar in the upcoming months. The movie co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur was originally slated to hit the silver screens in July 2020. The makers released the first poster of ‘Sadak 2’ last month.
