New Delhi: ‘Baahubali’ director S.S. Rajamouli’s upcoming period drama has been making the headlines ever since its announcement a few years back. The film stars N.T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. Fans have been eagerly waiting for updates on ‘RRR’.
This year in January, the makers of the much-awaited period action drama announced the release date of the movie with a poster. Alia Bhatt shared the poster on her social media and wrote, “Get ready for RRR, in cinemas on 13.10.2021 #RRRFestivalOnOct13th #RRR #RRRMovie @ssrajamouli @jrntr @alwaysramcharan @ajaydevgn @oliviakmorris @alison_doody @thondankani @dvvmovies @rrrmovie”
N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan’s respective looks in ‘RRR’ have already been revealed in the poster. The makers, however, have managed to keep Alia Bhatt’s look under wraps. Now, there is some good news for all Alia fans as the actress’ first look as ‘Sita’ in the movie will be unveiled on her birthday this year on March 15, 2021, at 11 am.
RRR Movies tweeted about this update from their official account and wrote, “Meet our #Sita in all her glory. First look of @Aliaa08 will be revealed on March 15, 11 AM. #RRRMovie #RRR @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan @ajaydevgn @oliviamorris891 @DVVMovies”
‘RRR’ will narrate the fictional tale of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. This movie was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release last year but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ‘RRR’ will now hit the screens on October 13, 2021.
Other than Ram Charan, N.T. Rama Rao Jr. and Alia Bhatt, ‘RRR’ will also star Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody in supporting roles. ‘RRR’ will release in multiple languages.
