During her speech, Alia expressed her deep admiration for Samantha, praising her as a hero both on and off-screen. Alia’s heartfelt words touched Samantha, visibly moving her to tears. Alia said, “Sam, my dearest Samantha… Rightfully so, you are a hero, on and off screen. I have so much admiration for your talent, resilience, and strength. It’s not easy to be a woman in a man’s world. But you have surpassed gender. You stand tall on your two feet, with your talent and strong kicks, as an example for everyone.”
Alia also shared how Samantha instantly agreed to attend the event when she texted her, highlighting Samantha’s supportive nature. Alia then requested director Trivikram to cast both her and Samantha in a film together, challenging the common stereotype of actresses competing with one another.
