New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia has been admitted to Hiranandani Hospital in Powai, Mumbai. Reportedly, the ‘Bell Bottom’ actor’s mother is seriously ill and to take care of his ailing mother, Akshay Kumar left his shooting of ‘Cinderella’ in London and rushed back to Mumbai.

A day after coming back to Mumbai from London, Akshay Kumar, in his recent tweet, said that he is ‘touched beyond words’ at the concern of his mother Aruna Bhatia’s health, and revealed that it is a very tough time for him and also the family.

Akshay Kumar tweeted, “Touched beyond words at your concern for my mom’s health. This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayer of yours would greatly help.”

As soon as Khiladi Kumar shared the update, fans started praying for his mother’s speedy recovery. Akshay Kumar was busy shooting for his upcoming project with ‘Bell Bottom’ producer Vashu Bhagnani in London. The actor and the team were filming for ‘Cinderella’.

Meanwhile, speaking on the work front, other than ‘Cinderella’, Akshay Kumar has a number of other projects lined up for release. One of them is the most-awaited cop-drama ‘Sooryavanshi’, directed by Rohit Shetty. The movie will also witness Katrina Kaif opposite Akshay Kumar. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will have special appearances in the movie. Akshay will also star in ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Atrangi Re’, Cinderella’ and ‘OMG – Oh my God! 2’.
