Mumbai: Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon starrer ‘Filhaal 2-Mohabbat’ has managed to create ripples on social media. The romantic ballad, crooned by B Praak, has received an amazing response from the audience on different platforms. ‘Filhaal 2’ became the most watched Indian song within 24 hours of release on YouTube. 


Akshay and the rest of the team are on cloud nine after the success of their new song. Khiladi Kumar thanked the fans for showering ‘Filhaal 2’ with love and asked them to share Instagram reels on the song. He also promised to re-share the best entries on his Instagram story.

Akshay shared a reel to motivate his fans to stay innovative and send creative entries. He posted a reel wherein he can be seen romancing both Nupur Sanon and Bhumi Pednekar.

Akshay is currently busy shooting for Aanand L Rai’s ‘Rakshabandhan’, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar. Last month, he announced Bhumi as the leading lady of his upcoming film. 


On the professional front, the National Award-winning actor will be next seen in ‘BellBottom’. The espionage thriller is slated to hit the silver screens on July 27, 2021. The much-awaited flick also stars Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles. 


Akshay has several other exciting projects in his kitty including ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Ram Setu’. Movie buffs are eagerly waiting for his film ‘Sooryavanshi’, which has been delayed twice due to the COVID-19 crisis. 


'Sooryavanshi', which has been directed by Rohit Shetty, also stars Katrina Kaif in a lead role. The film was supposed to arrive in the cinema halls on April 30; however, the makers decided to postpone the release in the wake of the second wave of Coronavirus in India.
