IAF Objects To Anil Kapoor's Scenes In 'AK Vs AK'

One of the scenes from 'AK VS AK' trailer stirred controversy as Anil Kapoor was seen wearing an IAF uniform and using cuss words in it. The Indian Air Force expressed its displeasure over the same and asked the makers of the film to withdraw the related scenes. IAF called out the makers for 'inappropriate language' and 'inaccurately donned uniform' in the scene and raised its objection.

"The IAF uniform in this video is inaccurately donned & the language used is inappropriate. This does not conform to the behavioural norms of those in the Armed Forces of India. The related scenes need to be withdrawn," the official Twitter handle of Indian Air Force tweeted while quoting Anil Kapoor's tweet.

Trailer Of 'AK Vs AK'

The makers of the upcoming film released the trailer on Monday (December 7). Interestingly, both Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap played versions of themselves in 'AK vs AK'. Kashyap will be seen as a director, who kidnaps Anil Kapoor's daughter. The interesting plot has already captured the attention of the movie buffs.

Anil Kapoor is playing himself in 'AK vs AK' and in the film's trailer, he is seen on the sets of another movie in which he is dressed in an IAF costume and isn't playing an IAF official himself.

The description for 'AK vs AK' on the official website of Netflix reads, "After a public spat with a movie star, a disgraced director retaliates by kidnapping the actor’s daughter, filming the search for her in real time."
