New Delhi: Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt won several hearts with their sizzling chemistry in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy'. The musical drama managed to set the box office on fire, emerging as one of the biggest hits of 2019. The movie co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi received critical acclaim from the critics and audience. Both Alia and Ranveer have emerged as one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood, all thanks to their acting prowess and popularity.

If a recent report in a leading daily is to be believed, Ranveer and Alia will be soon seen in another project. Filmmaker Karan Johar has reportedly roped in the two tinsel town celebs for an upcoming romantic film. Yes, you read that right!

Karan Johat's new film with Alia and Ranveer is rumoured to go on floors in April 2021. The 'Padmaavat' actor is expected to undergo a 25-day workshop with KJo's team before commencing the shoot for the romantic movie. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt would reportedly complete the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' by then.

"Ranveer will take some time off and do a 25-day workshop with Karan’s team before kick-starting the romantic film around April next year," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Alia Bhatt Returns To Mumbai


Alia, who will be seen in a special appearance in SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', returned to Mumbai on Saturday (December 12). She was spotted in a military green camouflage outfit at the airport. Pictures of the 'Raazi' actress from the airport are going viral on social media.



On the professional front, Alia Bhatt has several exciting projects in her kitty including 'Brahmastra' and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. She will be seen opposite boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra'.

Talking about Ranveer, the 'Simmba' star will be next seen in Kabir Khan's 83'. The sports drama is based on India's 1983 Cricket World Cup victory. The movie was slated to hit the silver screens in April 2020; however, it couldn't release on its scheduled date as the makers postponed the flick due to the COVID-19 crisis. Singh also has 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' and 'Cirkus' in pipeline.
