Beginning the following day, Aishwarya began to treat fans with her gorgeous pictures from the 71st Cannes Film Festival that she was attending with her munchkin Aaradhya.
There was one picture in which Aishwarya is seen adorably kissing Aaradhya on lips and the doting Mommy captioned it - "LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY💖😘😇✨Happiest Mama in the World 😍"
While the fans has been pouring in their love for the global icon and the most beautiful actress, this one particular picture however wasn't well received by all.
It was trolled heavily with nasty and stupid comments.
Although the picture got some beautiful reactions from her followers but there were also some who put us to shame by questioning a mother's adorable display of affection for her daughter.
Trolls target Aishwarya's adorable picture kissing daughter Aaradhya on her lips at Cannes.
This must've left Aishwarya shocked, who we just told you above, seemed keen to make a grand entry on social media platform.
The trolling of celebrities is nothing new at all but then targeting a picture as cute as this one is beyond comprehension.
However, the actress has found support in the fraternity members Pooja Bhatt and Dia Mirza.
Pooja in particular, relates more with the hate Aishwarya has been receiving since her own picture of kissing her father Mahesh Bhatt similarly on lips ages ago, also got into controversy.

Reacting to this, Pooja told a media portal that the current reaction to a similar kiss triggers off a feeling of déjà vu in her. “Since when does a mother need permission from the world to kiss her child?? However to dignify this absurd attack with a response would be to stoop to the very level of the depraved, deprived and the sick. As far as I am concerned, three cheers to Ash! This brand of nationalism is the last refuge of the weak. And I am not fooled by it.”
Another actress Dia, who never refrains from putting forward her strong opinions when it comes to women related issues in particular, also supported Aishwarya.
She also told the Bollywood Hungama - “Seriously? Since when was a mother’s display of affection a reason trolling? This is absurd.”
The 'sensible' fans on the other hand have been fighting the battle on social media for Aishwarya and they have been lashing out strongly at haters.
