After facing NCB interrogation in the drug nexus case, after her name emerged in drug nexus during Narcotics Control Bureau’s probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Deepika Padukone will reportedly fly back to Goa today(Wednesday) to resume the shoot of Shakun Batra’s next.

The actress was filming the same in Goa, last month however, she returned to Mumbai for the Narcotics Control Bureau interrogation.

And now according to a TOI report, the actress is returning to set today. A source revealed to the publication that the makers of the film were filming the portions of Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday while Deepika was in Mumbai.

Deepika was summoned by the NCB after her drug chats with her business manager Karishma Prakash were found during the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The actress faced interrogation by the NCB for around four hours and her phone has been seized by the agency.

Along with Deepika Padukone, actresses Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh were also summoned by NCB.

There were reports of all the actresses given a clean chit by NCB after the first round of interrogation, but later NCB denied any such development in the SSR’s case so far.
