Adipurush: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush is finally out in theatres and the much-anticipated film has opened to mixed reviews. Netizens have reacted to the dialogues used in the film and showed their disappointment with the cringe-worthy dialogues in the film.

Dialogues like ‘Jo humari behno ko haath lagaayenge, unki Lanka laga denge’, ‘Kapda tere baap ka. Tel tere baap ka. Aag bhi tere baap ki. Toh jalegi bhi tere baap ki’, have not gone down well with the moviegoers as it doesn’t gel with the story of Ramayana.

The film stars Prabhas as Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.

Twitter users are having a field day discussing the cringeworthy dialogues.

“#Adipurush 1st half The music & BGM attempt to enhance the borderline laughable visuals. Portions of the film look like a demo version of a mobile game. The dialogues like JO HUMARI BEHNO KA HAATH LAGAAYENGE, UNKI LANKA LAGA DENGE don’t help the case either! Passable at best,” tweeted a user.

Another user commented, “*Lanka Dahan Scene* Ravana's son lights up Hanuman's Tail: Jali na.. Jiski jalti hai.. Bajrang: Kapda tere baap ka. Tel tere baap ka. Aag bhi tere baap ki. Toh jalegi bhi tere baap ki. The makers are proud of these Chapri dialogues? They want kids to see this? #Adipurush”

“i think the #Adipurush team approach the #Brahmastra dialogue writer bhai itna cringe dialogue,” wrote another user.

But dialogues are not the only weak point of the film, the audience is also not happy with the VFX. The film's VFX was heavily criticised first when the teaser was launched in October 2022. It was also slammed for the apparent Islamisation of Lankesh, played by Saif, as the demon king was seen sporting a beard and buzz cut. The row prompted the makers to push the movie's release date from January to June 2023.

The makers had reworked-on the VFX after the criticism, but they still failed to impress the audience and didn’t manage to create the effect required for the film.
