New Delhi: Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon, may have had mixed reviews from critics, but judging by the movie's opening day box office haul, the public doesn't seem to be bothered by them. On its first day in the domestic market, the Om Raut directorial reportedly made an amazing Rs 95 crores, according to early estimates.


The magnum opus has made the most money from the Telugu market, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, with an estimated collection of Rs 58.5 crore. The Tamil and Malayalam versions made about Rs 70 lakh and Rs 40 lakh, respectively, while the Hindi version made Rs 35 crore.


The movie made about Rs 35 crores from the international market, according to producer and business expert Girish Johar, and it made a total of Rs 133 crore on its opening day worldwide.






As per a report by BoxOfficeIndia, "The final overseas numbers are still to come but a Rs 140 crore worldwide day one is there for the film and this number can go to Rs 150 crore when all the collections are rounded up on Saturday.”






Pathaan, the highest-grossing movie of 2023 to date, debuted to a worldwide gross of Rs. 106 crore. Over the course of its full run, the Shah Rukh Khan movie brought in Rs 1000 crore.



The much-anticipated film opened to mixed reviews. Netizens have reacted to the dialogues used in the film and showed their disappointment with the cringe-worthy dialogues in the film.


ABP Live review of the film reads as, "The movie has been a mishmash of terrible acting and unbearable dialogue from the moment it began. Nothing changed at the end of the story. With animated characters by their sides who possess superpowers akin to those of Marvel and DC protagonists, Raghav and Raavan engage in combat."
