New Delhi: Popular star kids including Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday have made their Bollywood debuts in the last few years. If a recent report in an entertainment portal is to be believed, another star kid is gearing up to make his Hindi cinema debut. We are talking about Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan. Junaid is rumoured to be entering the world of movies with Yash Raj Films' next project. Yes, you read that right!

YRF, which has launched the likes of Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra, will provide the launching pad for Junaid. According to a report in ETimes, the star kid will be seen romancing another newbie Bollywood actress in his debut film. Junaid will star opposite 'Arjun Reddy' fame Shalini Pandey, who is reportedly playing the female lead in the upcoming project. Siddharth P Malhotra, who helmed Rani Mukerji starrer 'Hichki', will don the hat of the director for Junai's debut film.

The report further suggested that Sharvari Wagh, who will be seen in Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji's 'Bunty Aur Babli 2', will be part of the film. The upcoming movie will go on floors in the first quarter of 2021.

Shalini has reportedly signed a three-movie deal with YRF. She is making her big Bollwood debut with 'Jayeshbhai Jordar', which also stars Ranveer Singh. The film was originally slated to hit the silver screens in October 2020; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Shalini shot to fame after playing the role of Preethi in 'Arjun Reddy' opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She later worked in films like '100% Kadhal' and '118' and 'Bamfaad'.

Talking about Aamir Khan, Bollywood's 'Mr. Perfectionist' will be next seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The movie, which is said to be the official adaptation of 'Forrest Grump', will now release on Christmas 2021. It was scheduled to hit the cinema halls in December 2020; the makers decided to postpone the film's release date due to the COVID-19 crisis. 'Laal Singh Chaddha' also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in a key role.
