Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's daughter, who is an avid social media user, conducted an interactive session for her followers on Instagram. The star kid, while interacting with her fans, asked them to answer the question: “I'm not sure what to do with myself. You?” Ira responded to one user who addressed her as ‘Aamir Khan’s son’.  


The 24-year-old expressed her displeasure with gender-defining nouns while replying to the user. The internet user wrote, “Aapto Aamir Khan sir ki son ho na (Aren't you Aamir Khan sir's son)?”

Khan responded by writing, “I am his daughter. But what even are these gendered nouns?” Her response created a lot of buzz on social media.  




Ira Khan has been actively using Instagram to promote awareness about mental health. Last year, she shared a video to reveal that she has been battling depression since few years. She said that she is doing better now.  


Ira had also revealed that she was sexually abused when she was 14. She added that she wrote a mail to her parents and got herself ‘out of the situation’.

The star kid has remained in headlines ever since she made her relationship with Nupur Shikare official ahead of Valentine's Day 2021.  The two lovebirds have been painting the town red with their romance. Shikhare is Aamir's personal fitness trainer. 


Nupur penned a cute post for his ladylove on Instagram on her 24th birthday. He wrote, “Happy Birthday My Love.. There so much that I would like to say, but I am going to keep it simple .. I love you.” He also shared throwback photo of Ira along with the heartfelt note.



Talking about Aamir Khan, the ‘3 Idiots’ star will be next seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The movie co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan was slated to hit the silver screens in December 2020; however, the makers decided to postpone the release due to the COVID-19 crisis.
