Mumbai: Late Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer ’Raabta’, which hit the silver screens on June 9, 2017, completed four years of release on Wednesday. Kriti took to social media to share a heartfelt post as the romantic drama clocked four years. She remembered her co-star Sushant while posting the emotional note on Instagram.
Kriti said that ’Raabta’ is one of her most memorable experiences and will remain close to her heart. The ‘Panipat’ actress shared a video which featured behind-the-scene footage from the film.
“Tan lade, tan muk jaaye. Rooh jude, judi reh jaaye. I believe in connection, I believe that we are meant to meet the people we do.. My Raabta with Sushant, Dinoo and MaddockFilms was just meant to be. Films come and go. But every single film has so so many memories behind it.. The connections we make & the moments we live with each other stay within us. Some more than others. Raabta was one of my best and most memorable experiences and it will ALWAYS remain extremely close to my heart. Little did I know that it would be our first and last,” Kriti wrote.
The ‘Housefull 4’ actress lamented that ‘Raabta’ turned out to be her first and last film with Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sushant and Kriti’s sizzling chemistry grabbed several eyeballs in ‘Raabat’. Although the film couldn’t set the box office on fire, the two B-town stars received praises for their performance.
The Dinesh Vijan directorial also starred Jim Sarbh, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in key roles.
On the professional front, Kriti has several exciting projects in her kitty including ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Ganapath’ and ‘Mimi’. She will be sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan in ‘Bhediya’ for the second time.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. Three Central agencies including the CBI, the ED and the NCB are investigating his death case.
June 14, 2021 will mark the on-year death anniversary of Sushant, who was known for his acting prowess.
