Mumbai: Back in August 2003, Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ released in the cinema halls. A first-of-its-kind film managed to create ripples at the box office, establishing Hrithik as one of the leading actors in the Hindi film industry. The science fiction flick resonated well with the audience, setting the cash registers jingling.  


Sussanne Khan Reacts To Hrithik Roshan's Post On 18 Years Of Koi Mil Gaya


As the film completes 18 years of release on Sunday (August 8), Hrithik took to social media to share a heartfelt post and wish the character of Jaadoo on his birthday. The 'War' star even wondered how Jaadoo would look like as a 21-year-old. 


 “To the one who filled Rohit’s and personally my life with happiness & magic. He held Rohit’s hand, healed his scars and made him believe in miracles. Jaadoo was merely 3 when he entered Rohit’s life . 18 years have passed by, he turns 21 today. Sometimes , I wonder how he would look like today ! What do you guys think? Happy birthday Jaadoo," Roshan wrote.


Hrithik's former wife Sussanne Khan dropped a comment on the post. She wrote, 'Sweetest face ever." Rashami Desai, Dia Mirza and other celebs also commented on the photos.

Hrithik played the role of a disabled boy, who becomes friends with an extraterrestrial being, Jaadoo. Their cute bond managed to strike a chord with the audience. The film also starred Rekha and Preity Zinta in key roles.


After the success of 'Koi Mil Gaya', Rakesh Roshan launched 'Krrish' and 'Krrish 3'. The two films raked in big moolah at the box office, creating a new super hero franchise in India.


On the professional front, Hrithik will be next seen in Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter', which is slated to hit the silver screens in 2022. 'Fighter' is touted as India's first aerial action franchise. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone, who is working with Hrithik for the first time in her career.


Movie buffs are quite excited to see the fresh pairing of Deepika and Hrithik. Trade pundits are expecting their flick to perform quite well in terms of numbers. Roshan will return to the big screen after three long years as his last film 'War' released in 2019.
