Both the outfits being Gaurav Gupta designs, Aishwarya's gown at Cannes 2022, with its pink and blush tones, is said to have required approximately 3500 hours of workmanship. Every detail, including the silhouette and the trailing veil, closely resembles what Kaling wore to the Met Gala. Gupta's initial creation for Cannes was inspired by the Venus sculpture, flawlessly capturing Rai Bachchan's enduring grace and natural sophistication.
