New Delhi: South Korean actress Park Soo Ryun, who is famous for her role in ‘Snowdrop’ and other musicals like ‘The Days We Loved’ and ‘Siddhartha,’ died in an accident at the age of 29. On June 12, a Korean news source reported that on June 11 actress Park Soo-ryun had fallen down the stairs while returning home from work. She was found unresponsive, and doctors determined she was brain dead. She died while receiving medical care. Park Soo Ryun passed away the day before her scheduled concert on Jeju Island.
Park Soo Ryun's family has made the decision to donate her organs in her memory. Her mother told Soompi, "Only her brain is unconscious, and her heart is still beating. There must be someone who desperately needs (organs). As her mother and father, we will be able to live comforted (by the thought that her heart) has gone to someone and is beating."
After hearing the news, her followers flooded her Instagram postings with messages of condolence.
Park Soo Ryun's body is at Suwon Hospital of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Centre. On Monday, June 13, she will have her funeral services, and on June 13, there will be a procession in her honour.

The actress made her debut in Il Tenore, a musical, in 1994. She has since performed in musicals such as ‘The Days We Loved’ and ‘Siddhartha.’ She was also well-known for her performance in the JTBC historical drama ‘Snowdrop’, in which she starred with Jisoo of BLACKPINK and Jung Hae In, among others. Park Soo Ryun portrayed one of the arrested college students who were ultimately freed by authorities in the K-drama.
