New Delhi: Actress Jung Joo Yeon and her husband have made the decision to get divorce after only being married for a total of six months. “It’s true that last month, Jung Joo Yeon and her husband mutually agreed to end their marriage,” her agency NEVER DIE Entertainment told Soompi.
Jung Joo Yeon has a thriving professional career and an equally satisfying romantic relationship. In March of this year, Jung tied the knot with a non-celebrity guy. But things have really turned upside down for the actress now that she has opted to end her marriage after just six months.
A supporter of Jung wrote on X, “As long as you are not hurting anyone. Go for it.”
There are some people who are confused as to why the couple parted ways just a few months after being married.
According to reports from a number of Korean media outlets, the couple had not even legally registered their marriage at this point. It was also claimed that, according to South Korean law, neither of the parties was required to legally apply for a divorce since neither of them had been married for very long.
In 2009, Jung Joo-yeon made her debut on the big screen. In addition to Stormy Lovers and Princess Aurora, her other notable works include City of the Sun and Twenty.
