South Korean actor Han So Hee has been accused of online bullying against fellow K-drama star Hyeri. This controversy stems from their connections to Ryu Jun Yeol, with both actresses previously linked to him romantically.

Han So Hee and Hyeri row

The conversation had mostly faded after the messy breakup between the 'Nevertheless' actress and the 'Alienoid' actor, but it has flared up again. Now, So Hee's 'Project Y' co-star Jeon Jong Seo is also caught up in the growing K-drama controversy.

Rumours surfaced on October 16 that Han So Hee managed a private Instagram account that posted negative comments about actress Hyeri. The account, operated by a user named ‘catsaretheavengers,’ consistently spread hateful remarks about the 'Reply 1988' actor. K-drama fans also noted that a close friend of Han So Hee, who appeared in 'Wedding Impossible' alongside Moon Sang Min, was following this account.

Adding to the speculation, the private account followed Han So Hee on Instagram, and its profile picture resembled one she had previously shared. In July, So Hee posted a similar image of Saturn on her official account, which also featured her cat-shaped phone case.

Han So Hee agency reacts

The account was created in March 2024, which makes Han So Hee's situation even more complicated. In response to the online backlash, Jeon Jong Seo's agency released a statement, stating that the situation involves the actress's personal life and they cannot verify the claims. Han So Hee's agency, 9ATO Entertainment, also provided a clarification shortly after. “This account in question that has been mentioned in the media is not an alternative account belonging to actress Han So Hee,” it read.

Earlier this year, Han So Hee and Hyeri were unexpectedly linked due to Ryu Jun Yeol. Hyeri and Ryu dated for a long time before breaking up, with rumours suggesting that Han So Hee was involved in the split.
