New Delhi: BTS member Jungkook continues to make waves in the music industry, achieving a historic milestone by becoming the first Korean soloist to have seven entries on the UK’s Official Singles Chart. His latest release, ‘Never Let Go’, debuted at the 60th position on June 14, solidifying his status as a global music icon.

The UK Official Singles Chart, often considered the British equivalent of the US Billboard charts, welcomed Jungkook’s ‘Never Let Go’, a song he wrote and produced as a gift for his fans in celebration of BTS' 11th debut anniversary. Despite his commitments to the military, Jungkook managed to create this heartfelt track, inspired by his time in service.

‘Never Let Go’ joins Jungkook's impressive list of chart entries, including notable collaborations and solo projects such as ‘Stay Alive’ with BTS Suga as producer, "Standing Next to You’, ‘Seven’ featuring Latto, ‘Left and Right’ with Charlie Puth, and ‘TOO MUCH’ featuring The Kid LAROI and Central Cee. These tracks have contributed to his record-breaking presence on the UK chart and made him the K-pop solo artist with the most Top 10 records on the UK chart.

‘Never Let Go’ was penned as part of the BTS Festa 2024, an annual celebration of the group's anniversary. This song underscores Jungkook's dedication to his fans and his ability to create music that resonates worldwide, even while serving in the military.

Jungkook’s remarkable achievements highlight his influence in the global music industry and set a new benchmark for Korean soloists on the international stage.
