New Delhi: Ever since its release, Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 has been on a record-breaking spree. The film has been doing exceptionally well in all the languages. Now the film has added another feather to its cap.
The Hindi version of KGF Chapter 2 has surpassed Dangal’s box office collection and has become the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. KGF2 has earned ₹ 391.65 crore in 21 days beating Dangal’s lifetime collection of ₹387.38 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the box office collection of the film.
KGF 2 is now second to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which has earned a whopping ₹510.99 crore in Hindi.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF Chapter 2 was released in five languages and has broken many records since then. The Hindi version of the film had the highest first-day collection of ₹52 crore beating movies like War ( ₹50 crore) and Thugs of Hindostan ( ₹48 crore).
It is also the highest-grossing film in Hindi since the pandemic began, the highest-grossing Indian film in advance booking and it also had the highest opening weekend for an Indian film.
Despite two major releases, Heropanti 2 starring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Runway 34 starring Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, and Rakul Preet, KGF 2 has shown amazing hold at the box office. The film is gloriously moving towards the ₹400 crore mark.
Apart from Yash, KGF: Chapter 2 stars Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, and Raveena Tandon in significant roles. It was released on April 14.
