Social media is at a buzz ever since the trailer of Thalaivi movie was launched simultaneously in two grand events in Chennai & Mumbai yesterday (March 23, 2020). While Kangana Ranaut impresses as Jayalalithaa fans can’t stop gushing over the actress’ uncanny resemblance in the movie.


The tringual film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film also features Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Madhoo and Bhagyashree in key roles. Soon as the trailer was out, it became an instant hit with netizens hailing Kangana’s power-packed performance.


Meanwhile, fans also started trending old pics and videos of late Jayalalithaa as the trailer made them emotional. And a picture of the late Tamil Nadu CM and then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi is going viral.



Interestingly the viral picture scene is also recreated in the film with Kangana wearing a similar green coloured sari while felicitating Indira Gandhi at an event.



Now fans are comparing both the pictures saying that the uncanny resemblance has left them confused as in which one is real and which is fake!
