Kangana had said in the petition that there should be an urgent hearing on this matter as she has to leave abroad for the shooting of the film ‘Dhaakad’. But the court has refused to give any relief immediately.
Today the High Court said that the ‘Tejas’ actress has filed the petition in a wrong way. The High Court asked that even after knowing that the passport is expiring, why was the petition filed at the last minute. The High Court directed Kangana to file the petition again in a new way.
In her petition, Kangana has said that she has to go abroad to fulfil her professional commitment. Her passport is expiring on 15th September and that she has to go to Hungary for the shooting of the film ‘Dhaakad’. Ranaut has further told that she has to go to Budapest and Hungary from June 15 to August 10 for the shooting of the second schedule of this film.
Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against Kangana Ranaut for sedition due to which the Passport Office has objected and refused to renew the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress’ passport.
Today, Kangana Ranaut's side was presented in the High Court by her lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui. He said that while filling the form for renewal, the passport office has said that it cannot be done. There is nothing in writing about this, all this has happened verbally. The Passport Authority has said that they receive NOC from the High Court, then they will renew Kangana’s passport.
Speaking on the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen featuring in lead roles in ‘Thalaivi’, ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas’.
