Kangana Ranaut Claims She Lost Rs 30-40 Crore Per Year After Speaking Against ‘Anti-Nationals’
Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday shared Twitter head Elon Musk’s recent ‘I'll say what I want’ statement and claimed that she lost over 20 to 25 brand endorsements for speaking against ‘anti-nationals’.
New Delhi: Actor Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday shared Twitter head Elon Musk’s recent ‘I'll say what I want’ statement and claimed that she lost over 20 to 25 brand endorsements for speaking against ‘anti-nationals’.
Kangana took to Instagram, where she shared an article on Twitter head Elon Musk, which had the headline "Elon Musk: I'll say what I want, and if the consequence of that is losing money, so be it."
She wrote: "This is a character, true freedom and success, speaking for Hinduism, against politicians/anti-nationals/tukde gang costed me 20-25 brand endorsements, they dropped me overnight and that amounted to a loss of Rs 30-40 crore per year..."
Kangana said that nothing can stop her from saying whatever she wants.
"But I am free and nothing should stop me from saying what I want definitely not agenda-driven multinational companies and their corporate brand heads who hate India it's culture and integrity... I appreciate Elon because everyone displays only weaknesses, at least rich person should not care for money...I see those more rich they get deprived they become..."
Kangana frequently posts her views on various topics and is also very vocal against a certain section in Bollywood. She has also praised Elon Musk a number of times.
Earlier on Tuesday, the actor praised the Twitter CEO Elon Musk after he responded to a tweet praising Indian food. A Twitter user shared a picture of Indian food and wrote, "I love basic b**** Indian food it’s so insanely good." Reacting to it, Elon Musk wrote, "True."
Kangana responded and wrote, "How many more reasons will you give us to like you more and more (slightly smiling face and hugging face emojis)."
On the work front, Kangana has wrapped the filming of Chandramukhi 2. The film's prequel, released in 2005, starred superstars Rajanikanth and Jyothika Saravanan. In 'Chandramukhi 2', Kangana plays the role of a renowned dancer in the king's court known for her breathtaking beauty.
Besides this, the actor will also be seen in her directorial 'Emergency', where she will be seen essaying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and in 'Tejas', where she essays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. She also has 'The Incarnation: Sita' in the pipeline.
