New Delhi: Janhvi Kapoor recently hosted a Griha Puja for her new house in Mumbai. Janhvi had recently bought a duplex worth Rs. 65 crores in the upscale Khar neighbourhood. The 'Mili' actress lives with her sister Khushi Kapoor and father Boney Kapoor in Mumbai. Janhvi's new house is an addition to her assets. Pictures from Janhvi's house Griha Puja have been circulating online.
In the pictures and videos shared by paparazzi, Janhvi's uncle and aunt-Sanjay Kapoor and his wife Maheep Kapoor were present at Janhvi's new home. Rima Jain was also present at the Puja.
As per reports, this is Janhvi's second real estate purchase in the last two years. The duplex she has recently bought is made up of apartments 101 and 201 on the first and second floors of the Kubelisque Building on Pali Hill.
As per a GQ India report, the apartment is spread over 8669 sq ft( built up), the apartment has a carpet area of 6421 sq ft. The property also comes with a massive open garden and private swimming pool. The carpet area of the lavish property is valued at around Rs. 1.01 lakh per sq ft, and thus the Kapoors must have shelled out nearly Rs. 75 k per sq ft for it.
In terms of work, Janhvi Kapoor was most recently seen in 'Mili' with Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa.'Mili' is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language survival thriller film directed by Mathukutty Xavier. Janhvi's last OTT release 'Good Lucky Jerry' which was released on Disney+Hotstar was also appreciated by audiences and Janhvi's fans.
Janhvi Kapoor also has Karan Johar's 'Takht' and Dharma Productions' 'Dostana' lined up for release besides prepping for 'Mr & Mrs Mahi'.
Janhvi's sister Khushi, on the other hand, is also making her debut with Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies', a Netflix film which is an Indian adaptation of the iconic comic series of the same name. Janhvi is portraying the role of Betty in the film.
