New Delhi: Jitendra Kumar, who stars in the show Panchayat, is in talks for his lead role in the forthcoming Netflix film 'Jaadugar', a humorous sports drama. In the film, he will portray a magician who is in love and is determined for his football team to win the regional football tournament. Today marked the trailer release of a sports comedy-drama ‘Jaadugar’ on Netflix. 


The plot revolves around Meenu, a determined small-time magician with little athletic skill who lives in Neemuch, a football-crazed town. He has his heart set on marrying the lady he has always dreamed of, but in order to prove his worth, he first has to win a huge inter-colony football championship.


Additionally, his teammates have their own quirks and their coach (played by Jaaved Jaaferi) tries to encourage the squad for the competition. Initially, the rest of the team focuses on their training but Meenu concentrates on his magic instead. Love and magic collide in this heartwarming sports comedy.


According to the official Jaadugar synopsis, the film is about: "A small-town magician with zero interest in football must lead his local team to the finals of a tournament if he wishes to marry the love of his life."


Sameer Saxena serves as the film's director, while Chalkboard Entertainment and Posham Pa Pictures served as the film's producers. 


An exciting sports comedy-drama where love meets magic will be exclusively available on Netflix from July 15, 2022. The film's main cast includes Jitendra Kumar, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Arushi Sharma.
