New Delhi: Amid Taylor Swift's spectacular Sydney concert, disturbing news about her father, Scott Swift, has come to light. There are reports that after the show, Scott got into a fight with an Australian paparazzi photographer. The incident, which took place in Sydney's crowded streets, has prompted police to start an investigation into possible assault allegations.

Before heading to Singapore for her upcoming show, Taylor Swift wrapped off her Sydney leg of the Era tour. Taylor and her father were spotted having fun after the show's successful end. But on Monday, Page Six was informed by the NSW Police Force that they had opened an investigation into Scott's alleged attack of 51-year-old Ben McDonald at a North Shore ferry port in Sydney.

It was Tuesday morning, around 2:30 a.m. Scott and Taylor were spotted out late into the night, according to the Australian photographer who was involved. When the father and daughter left their luxurious superyacht that evening, the photographer says that Scott "charged" at him.

MC Donald told Daily Mail, "She got off the boat, she walked towards security guards who were shoving umbrellas in our faces, and then he charged."

“He probably decided he needed to defend his daughter, for some reason,” he added.

Scott, according to McDonald, hit him on the left side of his face, leaving him with "very sore chops." He insists that in no way did he provoke Scott. McDonald did not need medical attention, according to the police.

Swift reportedly celebrated the end of the Australian leg of the Eras Tour on the harbour with her teammates and father. They took the lavish superyacht Quantum from the Homebush concert venue to the harbour following Tuesday's performance.

Taylor's security staff members were being grabbed by two people who were forcefully pushing their way toward her, threatening to throw a female staff member into the ocean, according to a representative for the Cruel Summer singer.

The pop singer is seen in photos taken from the dock walking under a black umbrella with someone else before being confronted by paparazzi who were ready to take pictures.
