New Delhi: The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are being held in the United States. As the ceremony honouring the best performances in television and film from the previous year takes place, anticipation is strong. After a historic year marked by a record SAG-AFTRA strike that shut down Hollywood for months, the Screen Actors Guild is reuniting. Lets take a closer look at the entire list of awards.
'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer' both won praise for their outstanding casts and the publicity they produced, which set off a global craze about the Barbenheimer fad.
'Barbie' received nominated for its stunt performers, supporting actor (Ryan Gosling), and lead actress (Margot Robbie). 'Oppenheimer', meantime, received nominations for its supporting actors, Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Emily Blunt, as well as for lead actress.
The ensembles of 'Succession', who lead the field with five nominations, along with 'The Last of Us', 'Abbott Elementary', and others, are prepared to square off following the Golden Globes and Emmys earlier this year.
