Actor Kevin Spacey broke down in tears and said that his home is being foreclosed on and sold at auction. The actor revealed that he is on the verge of bankruptcy and has been facing financial woes because of several legal bills for the criminal charges.

Kevin Spacey says he owes 'many millions'

During a chat with British host Piers Morgan, Kevin said that he owes 'many millions' in legal bills. When Morgan asked the actor where he was currently staying, Kevin Spacey said that he no longer had a permanent home.

"It's funny you ask that question because this week, where I have been living in Baltimore, is being foreclosed on. My house is being sold at auction, so I have to go back to Baltimore and put my things in storage. So the answer to that question is, I'm not sure where I am going to live now. But I've been in Baltimore since we started shooting House of Cards there. I moved there in 2012. This [house] has been my home since 2016. I can't pay the bills that I owe," he said.

On being asked if he was facing bankruptcy, Kevin said, "There's been a couple of times when I thought I was going to file but we've managed to dodge it, at least as of today... you have some sense of legal bills. I still owe a lot...Yes [I am in debt]. It's considerable. Many millions. The house itself is many millions."

During the Me Too movement in 2017, Kevin faced allegations of alleged sexual assaults and inappropriate behaviour. The Oscar winner faced several legal battles. Actor Anthony Rapp accused him of sexually assaulting him in 1986. Back then, he was 14, and Kevin was 26.

"He picked me up like a groom picks up the bride over the threshold. But I don't, like, squirm away initially because I'm like, 'What's going on?' And then he lays down on top of me," Anthony said in a BuzzFeed article.

Last year, a jury in a London court acquitted Spacey on nine charges. He was accused of the crimes between 2004 and 2013.
