New Delhi: Actor Christian Klepser, also known as Christian Oliver, passed away in a plane crash near the Caribbean island of Bequia, along with his two children, Madita and Annik, who were ten and twelve years old.

According to local police, their small plane crashed into the Caribbean Sea immediately after departure, ending in the fatal incident. Oliver was confirmed dead on board a privately owned, single-engine aircraft by the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force in a statement released on Thursday.

Christian Oliver, 51, had a successful career starring in big-budget movies like 'Valkyrie' and 'Speed Racer'. After appearing in the most recent Indiana Jones film, he made a lasting impression on the world of entertainment.

At the accident location, four bodies were recovered because the coast guard, fisherman, and divers acted quickly. Oliver, a 51-year-old father, passed away along with his daughters Madita (10) and Annik (12) and pilot Robert Sachs. Just after midday on Thursday, the awful event happened as the jet was traveling from Bequia, a small island in the Grenadines, to St Lucia.

The reason behind the collision is still unknown. After takeoff, Sachs radioed the tower about the problem, but the communication was cut off. To determine what caused this terrible accident, investigations are still underway.

In a tribute to the late actor, actress Bai Ling wrote a post on Instagram describing how she heard of his passing.

"Dear Christian Oliver @christianoliverofficial with tears in my eyes I cannot express the sorrow I felt when our direct Nick called me not long ago, that the plane he took had crashed, including his beautiful 2 daughters and the pilot had all passed! In the Caribbean‘s. He was having holidays," she wrote.
